PHOTOS: a tribute to OUR dead soldiers.....please kick if you care...
Has America had enough yet? When will we shut down bush* WARS?

talk to your kids, tell them it is an immoral war and they shouldn't go. Hide them in an attic. Build an attic if you have to. If you are young and they want you, say "Fuck no!" and go to jail instead. The ones who refuse to fight immoral wars are the real heros. The rest are collateral damage.

53. Couldn't even look at the pictures
Just breaks my heart. Enlisties are primarily (not completely, but mostly) kids who couldn't afford to go to college, and thought that serving their country and learning the value of hardwork would help make them stronger people. It kills me to think how little our government really cares about them, how little they get paid, and how each death is just another statistical headache to this administration.

Enlisties deserve a better salary, protected rights against the back-door draft, and most importantly, a President who will value and respect them.

54. The sadness jumps right out of those photos
From Luciano:
This one is for the leaders who are fighting war..
All over the world
Imagine all the money, that you spend on arms
Guns and bombs, to destroy
While people are left hungry, to die from wants
And those who do survive are unemployed
What is the future of the human race
How will the children grow to take our place
Where is the love that we should all embrace
I do believe, its here for you and me

bush* will try to delay the exit, until the VIETNAM ENDING....bush* war-profiteers are making TONS OF MONEY, preying on the lives of Iraqis and OUR troops...

April 1975...the END of the Vietnam War....after 14 years...America leaves Vietnam

69. I ordered them from
sales@MagneticBumperStickers

This is their web site: http://www.magneticbumperstickers.biz/

They're $4.00 each. I ordered 20 of them and have 15 left, I would be glad to give you one and anyone else who is interested. You could PM me if you would like me to mail you one.

I like them because no one can argue with the sentiment.

I also talked to the owner, Russell Warren, he is quite the character, an admitted Boomer activist in Madison, WI. I think his phone number is on their home page at the bottom.

But, like I said I would be glad to give you one.

If any DUers are in San Diego...PLEASE go to this exhibit and honor OUR dead soldiers..."Eyes Wide Open" is a traveling exhibit set up by American Peacemakers....Honor OUR veterans, WAGE PEACE....

note: bastards in San Diego would only give a permit for 170 pairs of boots...who are these SCUM? refusing to honor ALL our dead.....if you live in San Diego, it's time to get on the phone/email to YOUR local permitting officials...and bring the FULL exhibit....

Each pair of boots represent a U.S. military casualty lost in the war in Iraq (news - web sites). The traveling exhibit, which tries to display a pair of boots for each of the more than 1500 casualties, was only able to put out about 170 boots due to a permit problem. A full exhibit is planned for Thursday in Escondido, Calif. (AP Photo/Denis Poroy)

78. All because of greed.....................
Edited on Wed Mar-09-05 06:43 PM by ClintonTyree
Iraq's oil, some say, but the more base reason being, greed. Old men sending young men off to die because they, old men with nothing to lose, want to become more wealthy. These men, and many others just like them, died for capitalist, bourgeois swine.

Rest in peace.

85. I am shattered with heartache...
But damn don't we need to fix ss now, it's broken by 2047. But here is the real question: why do we care more than they do?

96. Posting these photos is such a good idea. Bush forbids coffins from
being photographed but we can publish as many grief stricken family members we want. Lots of pictures like these would waken up the public. Bush thinks if we don't see them...they don't exist.
