4. I'm so fucking pissed off I could spit!
The rightwingnuts won another one. While Dan Rather never really grew on me (I was raised on a steady diet of Walter Cronkite), he was, in my view, a good guy. Why on earth the right wanted him gone was beyond me. But it goes back to that fatfukker, Jesse Helms. At least.

They **hate** the truth ... and like the fucking cockroaches they are, they hate the light of day.

Tonight, having watched Rather's farwell and his extraordinarily well crafted messaage, I am feeling as pissed as I was watching him be forced to call the last election for that shithead in the White House.

13. Bob Schieffer for now
I don't know if that's permanent though. I imagine they are grooming someone to take over for him in the next few years.

10. It's such a joke

I'm so pissed. Greg Palast had a nice article on getting rid of Mapes so they wanted to get rid of Rather and company because they didn't control them and they have to control everything in this freakin country. God bless Dan Rather.

(Hmmm. Add suggestion to detailed cover letter for next contribution to PBS.)

Moyers is a Texas boy, too.

18. Yeah
I caught that one too. I thought it took a little bit of courage to be willing to say that. I was happily surprised to hear him say that.
