1. Am I in a time warp?

Just logged in and I see the first title: "If gore choses anyone but Lieberman does he win in a landslide?"

That would have been a valid question in August, 1999.

Or do you mean: "If gore had chosen anyone but Lieberman would he have won in a landslide?"

4. Gore announced that he was NOT running in 2008.
Saw it announced on CNN or MSNBC a few nights ago.

9. it is not a question for 2008 but for 2000
i guess it could be a question for 2008 but not concerning Gore.

10. Is there a link or a story anywhere saying he won't run?
I'd be disdappointed to hear that, but also think we have some other good potential candidates.

6. I dont think so. 2000 was decided in 1999.
Florida was just one of the safety valves set in place to give the chimp his throne.

7. Depends on how he campaigns.
If he runs another wimpy DLC campaign, forget it. Why bother voting for GOP lite when there's a real GOPer who's running?

If he's discovered there aren't enough yuppies to get him elected and starts to address the way the working class has been pounded by GOP and New Democrat mismanagement, bungling, and class warfare, maybe he can inspire something besides a mixture of boredom and distaste.

11. Al Gore inspred more people to get up and vote Democratic
than any Dem candidate that went before him

Why do people repeat the Republican talking points on Gore, despite the fact that they've been debunked time after time?

Why?

12. Lieberman didn't hurt the ticket, they won
rule of a vp- don't be an embarassment or have skeletons in the closet. Lieberman had neither in 2000. People don't vote against a ticket because of a VP.
