Swept under rug: Bush's refusal to get pre-election physical.
Was anybody else bothered by this? Remember the reports of Kerry passing his physical with flying colors in spite of his bout with colon (I think) cancer?

I'm definitely not a tinfoiler, but I happen to strongly believe that Bush has a serious neurological disorder of some kind. I watch him speak and observe his mannerisms and I just can't seem to think of a normal person in my daily life replicating them. He honestly seems mentally ill to me.

I mean, why isn't this considered an issue? Does anybody else have similar suspicions? We now know that Reagan had pretty advanced Alzheimer's around 1986...it seems almost like deja vu.

7. I hear ya...but joking aside:
I really think there is some kind of diagnosable problem there. And I think the "doctors" who give him his physical know about it.

3. Kerry was treated for prostate cancer...bush must have a very thick
medical chart. He appears neurologically and psychologically damaged.

4. This is surprising? In Reagan's last years, Alzheimer's had begun
to manifest itself. He was at a stage where it would have been a diagnosed condition. When did the American people learn of it?

5. Can't decide whether his elevator doesn't go to the top,
or if he simply hasn't pressed the button for the top floor in a long time, but it bothers me, too. The difference in his prepared speeches such as the SOTU, and his off-the-cuff comments in press conferences are like night and day. Anyone can study a well-written speech and practice and memorize it (rain-man memorized the phone book!), but it takes just a little brain-power to sound as polished and thoughtful when speaking impromptu, and he just doesn't have it!

9. My belief is
Edited on Wed Mar-09-05 10:34 PM by pen dragon
he went on a drug and alcohol binge leading up to the election and feared it leaking to the press if he chanced a physical. Look at him in the debates, an aggressive, jaw grinding cocaine job when he wasn't oozing bubbles from the corner of his mouth or acting detached and incoherent. Rove must have really had to work frantically to sober the little bastard up to meet those engagements. Hence the bulge on his back which I still think was a coaching device more than anything else

11. Bush hasn't published his physical exam results since August, 2001
This is the last and only time that an actual report, prepared by the battery of examining physicians has been published regarding Bush's physical examinations. It is written in the first person, by the lead examining physician. It provides the actual details of the exam:

http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2001/08/20010804-2.html

Since then, all of his physical exam results have been related second-hand, by Ari Fleischer and later by Scott McClellan. I have not seen any actual reports prepared by the examining physician documenting all the results, or providing any data. We are left simply with general statements by Bush's doctors given to the press that he passed his exams and also with Fleischer's and McClellan's responses to specific questions at press conferences. Why would you suppose that the hard copy of the actual physical exam, signed by the doctors, giving every detail include all medication taken, resting heart rate, etc., etc., etc. has not been released to the public since August, 2001?

13. Well, there was tha pigeon-neck-thrust thing he kept doing
during the debate; unless the back of his shirt collar was irritating him, that plus the slurring speech would seem to indicate something.

He just sounded like a damn drunk to me, but it could be something else. If it is, they seem to have it under control, because the last few times I haven't been able to shut the radio off before he started talking, he sounded clearer.

14. As someone else mentioned...
Bush only really seems coherent when he is following a script. Once he goes "off the cuff" you start getting the uhs and ums and really bad facial distortions...and he makes zero sense.

15. And what about the drool on his mouth...
Noticed during one of the debates? I think his chemical mix included too many uppers that night.
