Bernie Ward fans?

Hi all. Anybody here listening to Mr. Ward's fill in tonight? He's great! He just called Bush the anti-Christ! LOL!

But, I do miss Bernie!

I'm leaning towards Mike Webb though tonight.

He has his own programs on the weekends at night on KGO and is the one who fills in for Bernie most of the time.

I asked the DU admins to give him a link on the weekends but I guess they decided not to. Someone else also asked. Why not post and ask them to consider a link to his broadcasts. Maybe if more people ask, we'll get a link.

I'd love to have a link to him up on the weekends. I listen to Laura Flanders and Mike Webb reruns on the weekends. Mike Webb is really cool too but I've been liking Bernie and I wish he was on but this guy is pretty cool.

He handles the wingnuts so well. And I like Peter Werbe's talk on Sunday nights. But Karel is pretty cool even if he said that he shops at Walmart. >:-0

Aww. I thought he was smarter than that. Eh. :shrug: I love how Bernie is with the fundies too. Always fun. :) I was listening to Karel earlier in the week with a fundie and he got fed up and just hung up and was like "I'm not dealing with that." ;) Karel just said Bernie will be back Sunday and at least on Monday! HURRAY!

The man got snotty and asked Karel if his call was going to be a dialog. Karel almost said "yes" but then he jumped in said "no", that he changed his mind and then he hung up on the caller. The caller really deserved it.

I don't know why Karel shops at Walmart. But I have to wonder if it isn't budgetary concerns. Last night he was saying something about being short on bucks even though he makes a good salary. It was all part of the discussion about the change in bankruptcy law and how hard it is to make do in general. One woman called in and talked about raising her 3 kids and even though she worked so hard she could never take them to Disneyland and she started crying. I can see why people shop where they can afford without considering the consequences.

Walmart sux so bad, though. They're even behind the proposed changes in rules for truckers. We won't have to worry about the price of gas. it'll be too dangerous to be out on the roads. :(

back, no problem, "no one ever asked for it"...and like magic, it was there...this was a couple of years ago and I don't think that much has changed around here since then.

It seems like he's been missing a day here and there for awhile now. I hope it's nothing serious, related to his weight or his heart. He really should look after his health, as he's one of the few great partisans we have.

Doctors say he's in good health despite his weight, cardiovascular-wise. Go figure. Nevertheless, I'd be happy if he just focussed on eating good food like pork ribs and dropped that Cripy Creme doughnut crap. Heck, he'd lose a hundred pounds in no time.
