why do repukes automatically support him?

Shouldn't the Repuke Rep's look at both side of an issue before jumping on the Pretzeldent's sinking ship? After watching the SS hearings on C-SPAN yesterday, I am convinced that they are all retarded.

I love Captain Picard. This gives me a great protest idea: The Democratic crew of the Enterprise (diverse as always) vs. the evil Borg Republicans! That would get lots of attention at a protest rally! I'm sure we've quite a few Star Trek fans around DU.

3. Social Security was a Democratic program designed to help

the very people who are not normally repukes. The repukes have been looking to kill Social Security for decades. They going to go along with bu$h's scheme because they detest the program as it lifts the less fortunates and middle class higher than the rich little schmucks think should be allowed and they don't ever have to draw Social Security themselves.
It is easy to take away a program that you or your knobbiest (the big corporations) don't want or benefit from regardless of how much it benefits the very people who actually vote (like that matters anymore).
