Poll question: In Light Of The Michael Jackson Trial and Molestation? What Would You Do?

Why I am asking this is I am a survivor of sexual abuse. My parents chose to put me in counseling rather than seek legal action against my abuser. Have you been in the same boat? If you have, how did you handle it? Have you reported any sexual abuse or have your parents reported any sexual abuse that lead to legal action? What did you have to do to live through it? If you yourself have been accused of sexual abuse...how did you feel about it? What did you do?

3. the agent escapes...

and the victim is forced to get help. and sometimes the "help" itself can be another onus resulting in a double victimization. justice needs to be the first concern--therapy is a distant second, and is probably pretty ineffective unless justice is a big part of the response.

the escapee goes on to hurt others... a ripple effect.

Anyone who touches any of the kids in my extended family gets beaten within inches of their life. I shit you not. Fuck calling the cops, you molest or attempt to molest one of my kids it becomes personal.
