Scott Ritter Alert - On Ed Schultz today Friday 3/11

Don't know what time. Ed just announced. Be interested if Scott still thinks we're bombing Iran in June.

That was a good interveiw.

Ritter says Bush wants sanctions against Iran but several of the UN Security Council members won't go for it. Therefore, Bush's hammer is the threat of military force against Iran unless the allies fall in line. Regarding the Iraq election, there was a fraud committed by which the US retabulated the votes, subtracting some 10% from the main Shiite Party and giving them to Allawi's Party to keep the Shiites from dominating and forcing them to strike a compromise with the Kurds. The system is designed so that if a Constitution can't be agreed upon, the whole election business and scrapped and they have to start all over again, thereby prolonging the US occupation, something that flies against Bush's claim that he is bringing Democracy to the land.

I wonder where Ritter is getting his info about the shifting of votes in Iraq. That's pretty explosive.

Ritter also estimated about 3 years before Iran could perfect it's enrichment program and produce a nuke. Three years of potential diplomacy, rather than just start another war in June '05.
