Glad to be here. I'm now tuning in to Mr. Malloy about the judge in Atlanta. It's been on the news like crazy here.

something .

I'm trying to raise a young man in this world.
bush became the pretender the year my son started
Kindergarten . I try my best to keep it real for my
kid , but I can't imagine from my child's perspective
what does this world feel and look like .

Such a different world than when I was a kid .

I've lived through both Kennedy assassinations, MLK's assassination,
The Vietnam war, Watergate, the gas lines of the '70's, John Lennon's death, the discovery of AIDS(and its horrors to everyone) the start of the assault on the middle class begun by Regan and continued by Bush 1 in the '80's...

But I swear, what is happening to this country now and over the last 4 years...I can't find the words anymore. Every day is some new tragedy or outrage committed by these people running our government.

And every day I wonder how much longer will this go on before everyone wakes up or before the Universal Karma smacks this country so hard for what is being done in our name.

Payback is coming and it will not be pretty. :(

All that I was raised to believe , shattered
before my eyes .

Someday when I'm very old I'll be asked by a young
person about this time . I vow to keep my mind sharp
so I can remember to tell the tale .

The leg thing really freaked me out. Muscle pain is horrid, trust me on that. To die of torture like that is something that I cannot imagine.

I knew the kids story earlier in the day, so I have had time to stop freaking out enough to be somewhat rational again. The muscle torture story I did not know and I am going to be sick, good god. What the hell are we doing over there and why are the other soldiers allowing this to go on? Oy:(:(
