So Reps are AGAINST corporate welfare - WTF?!!! What a bunch of con men. They are blatantly anti-small business!

Rep. Scott Sales, R-Bozeman, called the bill "pure and simple corporate welfare" and a "Band-aid" solution that does nothing to solve the problem of rising health-care costs.

But Democrats said making health insurance more widely available can start to reduce health-care costs, because people with insurance are more likely to take preventative health measures before becoming extremely sick.

They also noted that every major business group in the state supports the bill.

"Is it a Band-aid? Yes," said Rep. Holly Raser, D-Missoula. "But bleeding wounds need Band-aids, folks."

great line from Raser
