Leave No Child Behind Forces Schools To Give Military Addresses and #'s!!

I was listening to Harry Shearer's syndicated radio show and heard him report on a provision in Leave No Child Behind that makes federal school finds contingent upon turning over the names, addresses and phone numbers of their students to military recruiters!

He also notes that The Educational Testing Service may also be distributing personal info on students without their knowledge or that of their parents.

It is right at the beginning of the February 27th episode:

He cites the a report by the Washington Post for the info which was buried way down in an apparently irrelevant story.

1. I just heard of something called Challenge Day.
It seems to be creating positive changes on the West coast.

Based on Gandhi's statement_ Be the change you want to see. Bullies are even apologizing after experiencing it! If only they would promote this type of self empowerment in the kids instead of mindless repetition and route learning to pass 1 test.

No child left behind? Ha! No mind left unbrainwashed! Just another brick in the Wall.

2. There is a form your childs school will supply......
....that gives you the control of who get's your childs information.

My son's high school sent one home to me unrequested but I know you can ask for them as well.
