1. That's not right. We were all newbies at one time.
That's not to say none of them are freepers, but we need to give people the benefit of the doubt. Low post count does not equal freeper.

7. Let 'em bring it.
If they're fascist dipshits, it'll be obvious to us soon enough and they won't last long. If they're just new posters, they'll bring some fresh perspectives. Either way, they can't do any damage just by posting shit.

8. I have seen many lately, but most seem on the up and up. Glad
that DU's reputation is spreading. We must be powerful if some freeps are coming to disrupt. Enjoy it!

Be kind. Newbies are good.

I know when I first started posting here it took me awhile to catch on.

The mods do a great job of weeding.

10. I've noticed a lot of cranky and serious people
who feel the need to comment on posting with warnings about how we'll be "mis-read" or "mis-understood" and we really should watch what we say. And a lot of lecturing, usually of the self-rightous nature.

We are here to have fun and say what we need to say. That's the whole point of being here - expressing our opinions. Engaging in debate. Shareing information.

I wish these worrysome people would take their worries elsewhere.
