Here's that picture again .....

Or is it another one? A little help here. Did anyone ever figure out if this was in Iran, Iraq, North Korea or maybe a concrete factory in Nebraska somewhere? Well just came up in a story on Iran a bit ago. Someone update me on this please?

1. It could be Area 51 (tm) for all we know.
Truly. I usually keep my fop-worthy jokes in the Lounge...

3. There is absolutely nothing to indicate what this facility is
Edited on Sun Mar-13-05 05:38 PM by Warpy
There is no parking lot, which indicates it doesn't have much of a daily work staff. It's isolated and in desert territory, yet has a nice lawn and other greenery around the front of the main building. The buildings at the top could be nearly anything. There are no cooling towers. There are four dark areas behind the main building that could conceivably be small pools for spent fuel rods, but that's stretching things a bit.

This place could be a school or a mental hospital just as well as some sort of nuclear facility. There is just nothing apparent to show what it is.

It reminds me of that "chemical plant" that Powell was flashing in front of the UN. All you saw was a warehouse and a few semis parked outside it. They could have been distributing groceries at that place for all it showed, and probably were. What is was NOT was what Powell said it had to be.

The fact that they're showing this same photograph as proof of advanced nuclear programs in two separate countries is astonishing. They're not even bothering to make the lies remotely believable.

On edit: the very small building above the ragged rows of vegetation in the lower right looks to me like a farmhouse and some sort of orchard, hardly something you'd expect to see next door to a top secret, state of the art nuclear facility being hidden away by an enemy power.

5. re:
Accoring to CNN, there are exactly the same facilities in Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Afganistan, China, and New Jersey.

6. Exactly the same?
Wasn't CNN already caught using the same intel photo for a bunch of different sites, in different countries?
