2. here's the rub
as an individual you will become an indentured servant to your debtors if you file for bankruptcy

however, if a company you work for files for bankruptcy and this results in your loss of employment, retirement benefits, back pay etc -- you go to the end of the line -- they don't have to pay you anything at any point in time --- meanwhile the fatcats safely get bonuses and have their ASSets covered

"Hey, old man! Sorry you got your VA medical cut, but hey, aren't ya happy that guy you voted for is keeping them damn Homos from getting married? (snif) what's that on your plate? Tuna cassarole, or 'Little Friskees'?"

Ah, why bother? Rush is gonna tell his Ditto-Head Nation it's us Li-Buh-Rals fault that they're eating cat food....And the stupid sheep will believe him.

That last box was fantastic.

Reeptile groupies and wannabe's are just so into authority and domination. If it's a GOP authority figure, s/he -must- be right.

My new mottos: Go left and be right. Go right and be.. wrong.

16. My dog Sirius WAS approved for a Visa card a couple of years ago.
I had used his name on a couple of magazine subscriptions, mainly to see where the mailing info ended up. It was scary. Tons of junk mail for Sirius. But the scariest thing was two calls in a week (from two different CC companies) offering Sirius Visa cards. I would jerk the callers' chains for a while, and then tell them the total absurdity of their offers to my dog.

One caller was incredulous. He said, "Are you serious?"

I said, "No. My dog is Sirius." The caller did get a good laugh from that.

17. Honey, Why is Senator Whiplash tying your mother to the railroad tracks?
Edited on Mon Mar-14-05 11:32 AM by in_cog_ni_to
OMG....is that FUNNY! Sad :(, but funny that the idiotic repukes have NO clue what they put in office. Their ignorance has finally caught up with them....right in the pocketbook. It's the only thing that talks to them, beside religion. Will they listen NOW??? I doubt it. They will let Bush tie them to the railroad tracks. No questions asked.

19. Chortle, giggle, snort
Excellent toon -- only could have been better if they were wheeling a 6-year-old cancer patient out onto the tracks, to represent that half of bankruptcies are caused by a medical crisis.
