Ask Bush if a full scale nuclear war is winnable. Just ask him. See what he says.

1. "Of course it isn't.
That's why we need to everything we can to stop rogue nations from using and proliferationing nuclear weapons."

3. Mr. Bush . . .
Edited on Mon Mar-14-05 11:41 AM by Jack Rabbit
(I still refuse to call him President)

We have seen over the years how former allies may turn against the US, such as the case of al Qaida, largely a creation of US intelligence to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan. We have also seen that states allied with the US which obtain nuclear weapons threaten to use them in unstable situations, such as in a potential conflict between India and Pakistan. And we have also seen how nations that obtain nuclear weapons, sometimes with our assistance, are unable to control them properly and can't stop rogue elements in their program from selling secrets and materials to rogue states, such as the case with Pakistan and Dr. Khan, who let secrets and material pass to North Korea and Iran.

In light of that, Mr. Bush, isn't there a danger to allowing any proliferation of nuclear weapons, whether to rogue nations or nations that are currently allied with the US?

8. "We know the danger. We're aware of the danger. It's a dangerous world.
And we're, ah, working with the Pakerstani government and our, er, allies to prevent such problems. Next question."

(and somebody get this guy outta here.)

2. That's why Bush only talks about using Nukes
against countries he thinks can't use them back. He's like the playground bully who figures if he always picks a kid smaller than he is, he can knock em down and they won't get back up to challenge him.

On the other hand, he's terrified of anyone that looks like they might hit back.

The underlying problem, of course, is he has no business hitting or pushing anyone to begin with.

Love the question though. If we had ACTUAL reporters asking him questions, a veritable pandora's box of wild answers could be forthcoming.

5. LOL. You think any of the scared rabbits in the Whiote House Press Corpse
would DARE to ask something like that?

They'd be fired in MINUTES (and should probably be grateful that's all that happened to them).

The thought is simply laughable.

6. Good one Night Owl.
They should also ask him if he knows of Israel's plans for the use of nukes. Bet he'd choke.
