was watching Republican Senators come up to Sen. Lisa Michalkski and CONGRATULATE her on her victory!!

Her victory?

She just allowed the environmental legacy of her constituency to be plundered for private profit.....and that's a victory?

She just squandered her stewardship of the land.....and that's a victory?

She just traded the environment for 30 pieces of (Oil Company ) Silver.....and that's a victory?

See the red glow
of the sun on the edge over looking the snow
silent clouds of fumes roll across the sky
birds fall from the sky and die

bags of bones walk among ruins
of trucks, rusted pipes and drums
it's midday and the sun is low
a cold summer glow
and the gas fires blow

The earth is melting away
in heat of our climate control
protected by filters and bags
we make the choice to slowly kill
all that was given we greedily sell

the night is falling one last time
on this once great earth
lost in the clouds of smoke and filth
the smallest of lungs choke and stop short

silence falls only the hot wind speaks
like the howl of a dog under a car

The Inuit tribes must be furious. Disgusting, this world has so much intelligence and beauty and a small group of IDIOTS with Billions are hell bent on destroying every precious living thing.
