Sinclair DC bureau chief interrupted Kerry's ANWR news conference
Edited on Wed Mar-16-05 04:57 PM by Career Prole
to ask about Corsi's "amazing accusations".

Son of a BITCH! Will it never f%$ing END?!

From Media Matters...

Don Hammond, the new Washington bureau chief of Sinclair Broadcast Group's News Central news operation, provoked boos at a March 15 press conference held announcing legislation to prevent oil and gas drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) when he revived disproved allegations about Sen. John Kerry's (D-MA) military record.

<snip>

From the March 15 press conference:

HAMMOND: Senator Kerry, I'm Don Hammond from News Central. Can I ask you one question?

KERRY: Excuse me?

HAMMOND: Thank you very much. A great measure of a democracy also is letting people ask questions in forums such as this.

KERRY: Everybody's going to ask their questions, you know, and you clearly have a loud voice and will be able to get your voice --

(laughter)

HAMMOND: Thank you so much. And I know you shifted a little bit from ANWR to the budget, but now can I shift to Jerry Corsi, a man that's running against you --

KERRY: No, I --

HAMMOND: -- for the Senate. He's made some amazing accusations regarding your military career. Did you or did you not --

(loud booing)

KERRY: What's the next question? What's your question?

UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: This is for Senator Cantwell --

HAMMOND: You won't take my question?

more at link above...

Note to Senator Kerry...if you should ever decide to hire bouncers like repukes do, I'd like to be one. I'll do it for the bubble. Just for the pleasure of layin' a forearm shiver into one of these guys' adam's apples. I'll even pay my own bail.
:grr:

Edited to take Media Matters' brackets from the "laughter" and "booing" so they'd show up...

13. Sinclair is no different than GOPUSA. They'll probably hire Gannon
as a political analyst.

4. The only good news is
Kerry is still seen as a threat.

Unfreakingbelievable though-that anything to do with Kerry's past has anything to do with drilling in Alaska.

The propaganda machine triumps in absurdity.

Oh I know, the point is the smear. Nothing else matters. It's gossip nation.

HAMMOND: Thank you very much. A great measure of a democracy also is letting people ask questions in forums such as this.

Except of course if it's a repuke forum. Then, all the questions are handed out on file cards to the sheeple, who, drooing over the chimp, ask them merrily - they being the only one's allowed into the forums.
