I agree with your overall point, but I don't believe that the media has that kind of control over the courts. I also don't believe that the government is forcing people to commit crimes that get this kind of attention. Then again, it may be the chemtrails. :tinfoilhat:

I keep saying it too. It's SO obvious. If you did a poll, I'm sure less than 20% of Americans would even know there was a bankruptcy bill passed that could effect them. Or that we are opening up Alaska for drilling.

But damn-I bet you 99% will know Peterson is getting death.

I couldn't agree more, but whose fault is it, really? Doesn't the media really just want ratings? In other words, aren't they just responding to what we demand? (which is, for most people, light entertainment that doesn't make them think too much, but that involves juicy bits of gossip they can chat about at work)

I think we can all agree that the media sucks and is reponsible for everything from the sham election to the dumbing down of America, but I don't think they orchestrated a verdict in the Robert Blake trial to coincide with anything else.

If the Blake verdict wasn't in, do you think they would cover ANWR? No - they'd go back to the story about God picking a redneck woman to help an escaped murderer find Jesus.

ANWR is too boring.

They've been at it for 8-9 days now; If they tell the judge they've reached a decision, does that necessarily mean a verdict or a hung jury?
