Define the word "Patriot"

We as democrats (liberals) are considered unpatriotic, or they say we hate America.
I disagree, i feel that we love our country so much that we'd do anything to save it... What is your response to these hate filled comments on us?

A line needs to be drawn between the two. so much talk is about values, lets go even deeper and talk about truths.

There's a fundamental difference between empty nationalism and the passionately-held ideas of tolerance, equality, justice and fair play. Sometimes, it takes considerable tribulation before those ideas regain hold in society.

In the meantime, just tell yourself that it's not true. If the opposition use lies to further their agenda, as we know they do, then that's another of their lies. :)

Use the word colonial. Because that is really what it is about. Indirect rule by the British worked all over the world. You just had to create tribes and tribal leaders, in order to rule through them.

So neocons rule within the USA is more like neocolonialists rule. Where unimportant issues are given to customary law, corporations, religion, and local tribal elders to enforce. While all the really important issues were controlled at the top. A British colonial official who did alot of thinking on this called it "double mandate".

and that means respect for all Americans, the entire Constitution, the Bill of Rights, her land, water, and air.
