And of course the Prez should be tested, and name names from his past.
After all, they are ROLE MODELS.

2. I'd rather we required IQ tests for these sons of bitches
My Congressman is obsessed with baseball players using steroids. That's like the 1,782 thing I can think of that I would give a shit about.

inventory could pick up Anti-Social Personality Disorder. That would be very useful. Good luck with your congressman, hope he retires.

5. LOL! YES! Especially those who voted for allowing testing of employees
If they believe in drug testing for employees, surely they wouldn't be so hypocritical as to oppose drug testing for our public servants. We DO pay their salaries.

6. Man, today would have been a great opportunity for
a no-name Democratic Congressmen to use that angle.

Don't we all have the right to know if the people who make life and death decisions for us are under the influence?

7. Because it is much more important that
ballplayers be tested. They are the most important people in the country!

/sarcasm off.

Damn straight, all of congress and the government should be tested. If they test pilots, then congress and the executive branch should be tested too. I don't want a coked up president running the nation!

10. You know what's ironic?
It's SO freaking important that corporations have the ability to drug test a burger flipper at McDonalds, yet the guy with his finger on the button with a KNOWN drug history is not tested. Funny how that works.

17. Agreed - but
maybe the best way to achieve that would be to insist that the guys who make the laws be tested first.

20. Have you been reading Sylvia Browne?
Her last book predicts insane changes in the structure of the United States government within the next twenty-five years, including new regulations regarding congressional service which mandate weekly substance screening for senators and representatives (as well as complete audits of personal finances)!
