Intelligence didn't fail. bush did.
Is it just me, or do people seem to be forgetting that?

Check out these stories from well before bush decided to start a war back in '03.

WHY THE CIA THINKS BUSH IS WRONG
The president says the US has to act now against Iraq. The trouble is, his own security services don't agree.

CIA IN BLOW TO BUSH ATTACK PLANS
The letter also comes at a time when the CIA is competing with the more hawkish Pentagon, which is also supplying the White House with intelligence on the Iraqi threat.

2. I hear people like Ed Schultz making this error all the time.
Then again, Schultz constantly refers to Bush as a "neocon," so he sets a pretty low standard for himself.

5. Bush didn't fail. He succeeded in tricking half the public
and using a compliant media as a megaphone.

We all knew the CIA intel showed little threat if any from Iraq, and that was echoed by Ritter and Blix. Rummy had the DIA desparately trying to spin a case for war. It was all obvious then, and it's all obvious now. The talk of "CIA Intel failures" is nothing more than more Bushco spin. The Intel was as accurate as it could have been. Had it not been cherry-picked and spun to the extreme, we wouldn't be where we are today (with freedom supposedly in flower throughout the ME.)

6. Nothing will be done by the American people, they don't care
what happens to America. All they care about is seeing The Apprentice or HGTV.
