LOL! I love it when former * Supporters get screwed!
If you ever want to amuse yourself, toodle on over to congress.org and read some of the letters to * and Cheney.

Here is a good one:

"To:
President George Bush
Vice President Richard Cheney

March 2, 2005

I was once a loyal advocate of the Bush administration. I supprted you and defended you when people had bad things to say about your leadership. Well, recently I've been shown the light. I don't know if you are pulling a Hitler her by trying to take over the world by taking the little countries first, but why don't you pay attention to the people that elected you, which I am sorry to say was me! What is this I am hearing about a draft, and the draft making girls go to war too? I feel like I've been betrayed by..."

SUCK IT UP FREEPTARDS! And look at it this way: Since you won't have a shot at a decent job anymore, now you at least can have something to do in the military.

I can hear the whining now! Would that be sweet or what? I would LOVE to watch them squirm and worry about THEIR kid or themselves going to Iraq. Little would give me more pleasure.

17. Sadly, many people actually still support this war.
There was one post congratulating Cheney on his excellent leadership!

20. I love the ones telling them that they have God behind them.
What's that line from a Woody Allen movie-"If Jesus could see what was being done in his name, he would never stop throwing up."

4. Funny stuff
Amazingly, all of this stuff was put out in the open before the election, ie privatizing SS, long term occupation (where else would we get more service men and women if not from the draft?), tax cuts for the wealthy, failures in 'no child left behind', etc, etc, etc. But instead of paying attention to the issues, these "freeptards" were busy watching Faux, and worrying that Gawd wouldn't bless Murka if they didn't vote for Bush.

7. Boy it's going to suck when little Lurleen and Cletus and
the rest of the freeper girls and boys get called off to catch bullets in the middle east because their parents aren't smart enough to vote in their own interests.

But hey, you get what you vote for.

I'm writing in regards to social security. I understand the disaster we could be facing but I don't understand why two things are not implemented.
1) Tax every dollar people make, no ceiling on FICA.
2) Take FICA out of all government employees checks. They all receive retirement and to receive social security they need only work for a very short time after retiring in a different job to qualify for social security. So make them pay into FICA from their government jobs as well.

These two suggestions could save social security for us all.

I love it when the reasonable-type * supporters try to logically explain to their esteemed leaders "what they need to do", as if they freaking care!

We particularly need people who have stopped drinking the koolaid.

If I met this woman I would offer her a bumper sticker:

But it's like alcoholism-ya gotta hit bottom.

Sadly , the rest of us have to hit bottom with them.

So, I will gloat a bit.

15. no conversion work necessary on our part if the draft happens
once their kids start coming home in pieces or in little boxes. It's amazing what the death of your kids can do to change your perspective on international politics.

16. That is what disgusts me about people like this
Oh, it's ok if someone else's kid dies. Or if you drop a bomb on kids and women.

Another part of their amazing hypocrisy.

18. in my experience they lack any ability to see things from any perspective
but their own admittedly narrow one. Sometimes though, the world forces that perspective to change. Having your son or daughter reduced to fleshtone jelly by a misplaced cluster bomb or having their head severed by insurgents (who already had their perspective changed by their environment) on video tends to do that.

Change is never easy or pretty.

19. As much as it saddens me
I'm afraid the draft will be the antidote for what ails about one-half the US.

Sick that is had to get that bad.

And yes, as a poster above noted, * told them what he was going to do before he was re-selected.

So why the big shock?

21. But Then It Will Be Too Late
I fear greatly what Bush** would do if he were given the power of conscription. He is already making bellicose noises at Syria and Iran.
The only thing holding him back is a lack of troops.

The draft essentially gives Bush** absolute power over however many
people the Selective Service System can grab. If they drafted
*everyone*, then Bush** would have the dictatorship he always wanted.

22. I like this one
Vice President Richard Cheney

March 1, 2005

As if you weren't rich enough to start with, now you must break the backs of the rest of America by having us pay $1,500 per second for your insane crusade, not provide for the common defense, not secure the blessings of liberty for anyone but the extremely rich, not promote the general welfare except to your own corporations who are profiting from the abject misery of the rest of the world, and destroy any chance of justice or liberty for everyone outside of your circle of fascist lackies. All in the name of pseudo-Christianity!

In order to keep myself from being stomped into submission by your jack-booted thugs, or as your propaganda ministry would put it, 'interrogated by independent contractors' I must compliment you, Mein Fuhrer! You are a true genius! Wir sind guten Deutschlanders! Sieg, mein Fuhrer!

Heil Bush!
