Schaivo; This macabre Republican propaganda ploy will backfire
Edited on Fri Mar-18-05 02:04 PM by xray s
I can not believe the fascist ghouls that now make up the leadership of the Republican party actually want to drag a brain dead woman to Washington just to win some points with their far right wing base.

Frist is a physician? He doesn't deserve to even call himself a grave digger. How dare he use this woman as a prop! How dare he drag her before the howling Rovian mob for political purposes!

This will backfire...BIGTIME! A whole lot of Americans have first hand experience dealing with the death of a loved one. They know how hard it is to put someone in God's hands when the end is at hand, and make that tough choice to stop all the artificial means that can keep a heart beating, but can never restore someone to true life.

People will realize just what a sick, political stunt this is and Bush et.al. will pay.

BASTARDS!

3. I know I would
That's what I'd do. I was listening to the CNN report about this and I think it was Frist or someone on there talking about the new bill and saying how Boxer and two/three others refused to sign it. Does anybody have a list of the people who did? I'm just curious. He was saying how they don't care about life and all that nonsense. LOL. I thought it was so funny. These people are so desperate.

2. Yes. Frist also believes you can contract AIDS through sweat.
I wouldn't let my dog be a patient of his.

4. Quite sad

I'm so ashamed he's my Senator. I hope we get rid of him in 2006 whether it be Ford junior or Corker. I'd take any one of them. Surely they know how you get AIDS. :silly: And he calls himself a doctor.

5. He used to lie at animal control shelters to get cats, then took them
home so he could conduct experiments. A man who can't even respect the life of an innocent animal has no business wrapping himself in the Terry Schiavo case. Not only would I not let one of my dogs be a patient of his, I'd lock them out of sight along with my cats. NOT that that horrible man would ever step foot in my house.

for reasons that should be obvious.

7. This is a lot like what they did with Elian Gonzales
The mob surrounded the yard where he played. He was constantly on display for their enjoyment.

8. NOTHING "backfires" on the republicans!!! Haven't you learned this yet?
Edited on Fri Mar-18-05 02:53 PM by LaPera
The republicans fuck up, the media ignores it and won't report it.

If the media does report the story, they will spin the story exactly as the White House dictates, verbatim, and the corporate media will report it as the TRUTH.

When necessary, they will lie and bring in their "experts" they will manipulate the facts and numbers, to "prove" their position is the correct one.

And then, there's always a shitload of fundamentalist Christians ready, willing & wanting to take the heat, for the good Christian republicans, include the lord, Bush.

This, along with the dozens of other ("this will backfire on Bush & the republicans." Or "Bush is going down on this one!") stories, will just fade into the wind like all the other stories.

NOTHING, has or will stop Bush and the republicans from moving right along with their fascist, imperialistic, environmental destruction, corporate agenda.

And this includes destroying and/or gutting all social programs.

Up next Social Security...

They are in complete power and they are just move right along.
