You must have a durable power of attorney for health care in place that explicitly states, in no uncertain terms, that you specifically want **EVERY POSSIBLE HEROIC MEASURE TAKEN TO KEEP YOU "ALIVE"** -- no matter if you're in agonizing, intractable pain, or have become a complete vegetable, or are dying inexorably by degrees, and so on.

Regardless of the cost in your unceasing pain, or staggering medical expenses, or unspeakable suffering inflicted upon your loved ones -- it's time to lead by example.

Delay, Santorum, et al really don't care. The life/death issue of all this is irrelevant because the real issue is the politics and trying to maintain the aura of moral superiority for political purposes. So, unfortunately, your words will fall on deaf, uncaring ears.
