Another reason I'm so proud of President Bush...
http://www.timesargus.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050318/NEWS/503180384/1016/FEATURES07

It takes real courage for a leader to stand up and make the right choices. Only a visionary like President Bush understands that the greater glory of America, and of the hundred families that own this great nation, require sacrifices on the part of the underclasses.

As a classic example, I cite President Bush’s recent decision to eliminate all funds from the Federal Traumatic Brain Injury Act. Some people are whining that the government is denying medical care to wounded veterans of the Iraq war, many of whom have severe head injuries. Yes, of course. That is the point. These shortsighted fools apparently do not see the clear, uncompromising wisdom of the Bush Administration’s action. Very little of this money would go to members of the ownership classes, who stand in desperate need of further tax cuts, and who seldom suffer from brain injuries; almost all of the money would have been wasted on badly damaged veterans who are of no further use to the American Empire.

1. Always A Pleasure, Sir

To see a clear-minded thinker, who maintains his focus on the critical points, and is undistracted by sentimentalities....

You are quite correct; the focus of this administration is to stuff the pockets of its plutocratic supporters, and they pursue it with a detailed dilligence that would be creditable indeed in a better cause....

5. Magistrate, your one-liners always leave me chuckling...
I think that this one ranks up there with, "This past election forced the American electorate to look into the abyss. Fifty-one percent of them scratched their heads and wondered, 'Hmmm... I wonder what's down there?'"

Perhaps Congress should interview these men and women and their families instead of dragging out the Terri Schiavo case.

4. Whatever you do, don't tell Dubya that certain cultures
have been known to place their elders on icebergs and push 'em out to sea. He'll be hauling in ice from the arctic so fast Grandma won't have a chance to grab her teeth.

6. Perhaps that's why he's not
concerned with global warming? Always thinking ahead, by gum!

7. Indirect Rule for sure. A phony set of rules (morals) to keep us all
busy while the wealth of the nation is distributed to the elites: wealthy, military, corporate.
