Local news filled with the praying folks about Schiavo....rocking forward.
and back from the waist. What denomination does this rocking back and forth thing, hands in the air as they pray? Not being ugly, just never saw the rocking before.

I am a Christian, former Southern Baptist...I have never seen such as this.

16. I don't know either
Looks like it failed? I don't know. I am a prayer person but I know the facts of life and I know if someone is brain dead there is little chance of a prayer helping.

7. A big public catharsis
Such things give me a serious case of the willies.

No denomination, as far as I know, is into rocking. It's a spontaneous thing. These people are so worked up over the unfortunate Ms. Schiavo that their cups overflowth. Some of their rhetoric is astounding, between the hate, the religiomania, and the vicarious suffering.

God works in mysterious ways. I can't wait to hear His story about this one.

Or their own fucking stupidity, one or the other.

Seriously, these are the non-denominational fundamentalists. They suffer from a yet to be identified psychological disease. The closest description I've seen so far is; Malignant Egophrenia.

On Edit: If you don't want this disgusting haggling to happen over you (if/when in a vegatative state), then take the time to make a legally binding "living will."

12. its called "the cause USA
based out of Maryland

................ evangelical pastor asked Paul Amabile in December to move his family of eight across the country.

In less than a month, Amabile quit a sales job in Kansas City, Mo., and relocated his family to the Washington, D.C., area. That's where they now live, praying and protesting daily.
snip

Part of TheCause USA, the Amabiles live with others in the group in a Maryland dorm-like facility. The organization, made up of primarily college-aged kids, was founded by Lou Engle, an evangelical activist pastor.
...................... Next they will go to Alabama.
