Upchuck alert -Gannon to be on Tucker Carlson "unfiltered" tonight
http://www.pbs.org/tuckercarlson/

I guess he's alive still alive and kicking for all that were "concerned" for his welfare. Which after reading his website, it would be nice if he DID disappear. No, such luck.

Still it's good for a laugh.

For decades, gay activists have insisted that the government should stay out of the bedroom. Now we know it was because they didn't want anyone in their way when they invaded someone's bedroom to practice the politics of personal destruction. To them, privacy is a one-way street and a principle to be easily abandoned when it doesn't suit their political agenda. In the 1990s, liberals said sex didn't matter, but now it is an obsession for them.

Isn't privacy (a word that doesn't appear in the Constitution) the basis of the Lawrence v. Texas decision? Thought so. Just more liberal hypocrisy. No link here, just an observation.

Who knew the internet was his bedroom??

4. HA!
Gannon links to this site that asks him questions.

It's really pathetic. He's asked TWICE if he's gay. Refuses to answer. Also refuses to describe his family.

Does blather at length about himself as a real journalist.

3. For years I've given money to PBS
But this year I wrote them and said that I was not going to give. Tucker sent me over the edge. So they get a small percentage of their operating money from the government. They'll lose more appeasing them than standing up for their right for free expression. No one has responded to my inquiries, so I am left to conclude that the Carlson show was nothing more than pandering to a large contributor, govt or otherwise. My few bucks are being withheld nonetheless.

6. Good for you
I can't stand Carlson. I stopped watching CNN on 11/3 forever. I may be tempted to see this as I've never seen a Gannon interview. I know I'm just rubbernecking. But damn..I betcha Carlson is all softball with him.

Ever since NOW has lost Moyers and it's been hacked to half an hour..it's been sad.

It will help quiet this whole embarassing episode right down.

Please keep out there protesting your purity. And please keep stirring your big fat ugly White House Prostitute/Journalist shit pot.

Every little bit helps.

9. LOL...from his site
for his March 8, 2005 'softball he would have thrown' Guckert writes:

"Has the White House had any conversations with or given any directions to United Nations Ambassador-designate John Bolton to demand a full accounting of the Oil-for-food program and an investigation into the sexual misconduct of UN peacekeepers in the Congo and elsewhere?"

10. Today's Briefing Question (JImmyJeff's website crap)
While I am on hiatus from the White House briefing room, I'm going to post the question I would have asked had I been there. It will be interesting to see if anyone else asks it.

March 18, 2005

"Antiwar activists will be protesting the war in Iraq outside the gates of Ft. Bragg. How does the Commander-in-Chief view this kind of activity specifically directed at our troops and their families?"

11. Did anyone watch this?
It was not shown on PBS out of Albquerque. They ran some kind of fund raiser instead.

What happened?

13. Bow tie boy?
WTF? PBS has bow tie boy? I'll remember that the next time KVIE wants money. I hate to say it but Gannon is probably better than Tucker. Tucker should invite Begala on so he can smack him,(Tucker that is) around just like old times.

14. Did anyone see Tucker interview Gannon?
Okay, it is Sunday, and I set my VCR... I had checked our local PBS schedule in Chicago, and they said Tucker's show would be on Sunday at 12:30 pm, same as it usually is--but instead they had fundraising with singers from the 1940's! :-(

So...what happened? Any revelations? Any fireworks? Or just RW smoochin?

Anybody know?
