Go On George, You Fucker, Go Down To Florida And Meet Terry Schiavo
Take Michael Schiavo up on his invitation. If you're going to sign a bill injecting yourself into a family's private, medical decision, GO DOWN AND SEE FOR YOURSELF YOU PANDERING PIECE OF SHIT.

4. That statement was very opinionated, don't you think?????
and you are DAMN right about it too. Pretty soon this young woman will have gotten out of the bed by herself. Some lady said that Terri was crying and telling her mother that she didn't want to die. I don't know, I wasn't there; however, isn't it ironic how quick Dubya is to save a life (or a so-called life as she has no quality of life). I mean the man had the record for executions and no mercy.

8. I agree
when shrub was gov. of Texas death sentences were plentiful and executions were carried out. He mocked Carla Faye Tucker a woman on death row who said she was born again in prison. She was executed.

21. Very ironic
...considering that in 1999, as governor of TX, Bush** passed provisions giving hospitals the final authority to decide who lives and who dies in cases like Schiavo's.

Where oh where were Bush**, the Repukes on the Hill, and the Christian Right last week when 6-month old Sun, who was born severely disabled, had his respirator removed by a hospital in TX, despite his mother's protests?

It's obvious to anyone with a functioning brain that little Sun's fate deserved the same hysterical attention from the oh so moral Right as Terri Schiavo.

Instead the self-serving Reichwing prove once again that they wouldn't know a genuine moral if they tripped over one in broad daylight.

7. Before chimp could muster the courage
to walk into that room, he'd have to be throughly shit-faced. Nevertheless, the sight of that poor woman would give him nightmares for the rest of his life. The chickenshit would never in a million years go there.

20. And, that's exactly how they'll package it.
The president that God himself appointed and his entourage saved her from those Democratic murderers and her evil husband.

I wouldn't be surprised to see that in a campaign ad for the next Republican nominee.

Wow, am I getting cynical....

This is the worst political BS I've seen in a long time, and I really thought ShrubCo had already shown me the worst!

17. Michael Schiavo invited Bush to meet Terri?
Wow. I wouldn't invite Bush to a gum-chewing contest.

I guess it's smart on Michael's part. If Bush and the rest of the government is going to insert themselves into this private, family matter--the least they can do is take a look at the person about whom they keep pontificating.

Maybe if they saw how much pain they are causing Michael--they might knock off the theatrics.

18. I totally agree that this has become nothing
more than a BS ploy by the Reuplicans for political gain. I also totally agree that Schiavo or her guardian has the right to end a life which isn't really life anymore and unless a miracle happens never will. Though I do have a problem with them removing the feeding tube. It just seems a cruel way to end a life. If the law allows the removing of a feeding tube which will cause death in a week or two then why can't it allow a doctor to ger her an overdose of morphine or something that is a lot quicker and more merciful?

...go down there and help with her around-the-clock, practical care.

That is the LEAST he can do if he's so hell-bent on keeping her alive. C'mon, George, REALLY help the family out here!
