Where oh where were Bush**, the Repukes on the Hill, and the Christian Right last week when 6-month old Sun, who was born severely disabled, had his respirator removed by a hospital in TX, despite his mother's protests?

I also totally agree that Schiavo or her guardian has the right to end a life which isn't really life anymore and unless a miracle happens never will. Though I do have a problem with them removing the feeding tube. It just seems a cruel way to end a life. If the law allows the removing of a feeding tube which will cause death in a week or two then why can't it allow a doctor to ger her an overdose of morphine or something that is a lot quicker and more merciful?
