Los Angeles 3/19 Protest images - Bush Puppet roll out

Our March 19 protest in Los Angeles went well. Los Angeles times reported there was at least 4,000 of us there. And that with a 60 % forecast of showers. We had some rain at first but the rest of the march went great.

The new Bush puppet with skeleton torso was a hit. New wagon made it easy to roll. Crowd seem to love the puppet.

Great to meet other DUers there like Jdots, Kerrytravelers, Rosalyn, devilgrrl, WTmusic, RadiDem, and all the DUers that stopped by the Bush Puppet to say hi.

Freepers behind the protection of the Lawyer's guild. Aryan looking guys with clever signs like "War never solved anything, except slavery, communism, ... etc."

Last I heard we didn't do too well on the only war with communism, in Vietnam.

## the puppet also looks like a cross between Bush and our own lapdog John Howard in Australia..it's like the 2 are morphing into each other.

I got an email from a friend of mine who went to the protest that quoted the estimated numbers of people attending were about 20,000 in all.

Thought I would pass that on.
