2. there were MANY THOUSANDS of Peace Vigils this week...mostly at churches


but some in parks, on sidewalks, outside churches...the 'MAIN STREAM' religions have JOINED US now....bringing America back to peace....(we are FED UP with bush* pro-war fundies).....

3. You're right, d14 -- I just wish more people knew...
that this kind of thing is happening in churches. Many young people I know think there's only one kind of church -- the kind that mobilizes its membership to vote for GW Bush, by the hundreds of thousands, and supports his domestic social, and belligerent foreign, policies.

4. here's my own NEWs report on these Pro-Peace rallies...

covers the interesting merging this week of "main stream" religions and the "American War-Veterans with Military Families and active duty military"...it's a BIG increase in Pro-Peace activists..

12. Riverside's a beautiful church
and they have a long history of supporting progressive causes.

Been a long time since I've attended service there, but if you're in NYC, you should.
