The ONLY thing that really matters in the Schiavo Case is:

six different courts have determined that Terri did not want to live in a vegetative state. It doesn't matter how severe the brain damage is what matters is Terri's wishes and Terri's wishes ONLY as determined by the courts.

The Republican Congress, President Bush and several million self righteous jerks are trying to save someone against her will. I can't think of anything more Un-American and more cruel than forcing someone to do something against their will. And the sad thing is they all claim to be doing this for Terri. Using someone who can't speak for herself for their false cause. It's simply maddening!

an 'emergency' cycle just went across my TV, the third or fourth in the past 10 days, but this one took me to watching FAUX news while they were claiming she's going to die a horrible death.

She's not, 1 she doesn't feel, 2 even if she did, the amount of morphine they have her on is so heavy that she isn't feeling anything past chasing the little blue smurfs into the white light.

(As a note - Whenever the emergency channel test comes up it turns the TV automatically to whatever channel, normally one of the local channels.)

And their base is eating it up. *Sigh* If they put this much effort into saving the Iraqi's things would be swell. Even when Jeb Bush specifically appointed conservative judges not too long ago they sided with the HUSBAND! GO figure! Even the SUPREME COURT sided with the husband!

and somewhere along the road it'll be ok for pharmaceuticals to test their drugs on uninsured people on death support systems.
