99. Right now it is being considered as a suspension bill
That means 2/3 must support the bill for it to pass. It is supposed to be used for noncontroversial legislation. If they can't get 2/3, they will have to try for a majority vote. This will involve the rules committee passing a special rule to bring the bill to the floor as regular business.

and do what's good for Terri, and just let her die. I don't think they can get away with the blaming the Dems for that. If the Dems are smart, they will just say that God's will was done.

It's a "you snooze, you lose" situation when it comes to voting. Whoever doesn't show to vote, loses their vote. 3 people could pass something if they followed procedure.

I don't think there is a minimum of how many people have to be present to vote. I may be mistaken, but today in the Senate, there were no Dems present.

I am from Iowa and King is a wacko from Western Iowa (thank god I am from central Iowa and went to school in eastern Iowa). King doesn't even have a college degree, he dropped out of NW Missouri St. At least he has some college, I guess, that means he is more qualified than the majority of the people that he represents.

That Bush signed the law allowing hospitals and doctors to pull the plug on patients with "no hope of recovery" and inability to pay.

In other words, the hypocrisy is glaring. If you're poor, a minority, or a Democrat, life is cheap. But if you're a rich or connected Repuke, they're pro-life at all costs--provided they don't have to pay.
