I have an idea on the Schiavo case

Do an experiment.
Everyone that feels she should live--Congress included--vow to put yourself in her shoes for 24 hours then come back and tell us how you feel.
1. Wear a diaper for 24 hours. You are not allowed to go to the bathroom anywhere other than this diaper.
2. You must drink minimum 3 cans of Ensure (sorry we can't tube feed you) but with the nasty feces that occur after formula feeds, then you will at least get the idea of what she sits in frequently.
3. You cannot talk or communicate with anyone.
4. You cannot do anything for yourself (other than drink the Ensure).
This includes brushing your hair, your teeth, washing your face, bathing, etc.
5. You must sit in the same place for the entire 24 hours. You will find it's not easy sitting in one place for that long without your entire body hurting.
6. You must not have any outside stimuli.

Do this and then come back and tell us that she really wants to remain in that state.

'eliminate any cogent thought process.' Makes it a while different story that we can't even comprehend.

None. A total, complete, pathological lack of empathy. I realized this while driving tonight listening to Laura Ingraham. The RW'rs are unable to have empathy, or identify with anyone other than themselves.
