What the Dems can't say
This has been driving me nuts. I recently read, in regard to the budget battle now taking place in D.C., a Repuke said something to the effect, "I'm going to say what the Democrats would like to say but can't, there would political consequences. Since we are looking at every program for savings, our military should also be subject to a look to see how accountable its spending is" but can't find the source. The military can't account for, according to varying sources, 10-25% of its budget. We know there are bilions missing from this Iraq catastrophe. Who said this? Jim Nussle, Judd Gregg, Clay Shaw? I want to throw it in the faces of "the military can do no wrong" crowd.
