2. The ignorance of this case is maddening!!!!!
First of all the Husband yielded his power to the courts of Florida. That never gets mentioned.

6. So far we've had callers like this (taking notes on CSPAN callers):
1. A Dem against it.

2. A republican against it. (!!!)

3. A Dem FOR the government being involved. (Who seems VERY uninformed.)

4. An independent against it.

5. A Dem against it.

6. A republican against it. (!!!) (Really thinking about the direction of her party, she is disturbed by this violation of state rights, this is a "power grab" by the members of my party, I am thinking about changing my party, I can't agree with what they're doing, they are putting themselves right into our bedrooms, right into the relationships between husbands and wives, they're saying 'we know better as to what kind of decision to make for you,' and that's something they used to accuse Democrats of! I'm really really upset about what they're doing. I think I'll be changing parties, I'm so discouraged.")

188 yeas now.

7. A Dem against it. Very pissed off. He argues for going through courts. Rooker-Feldman Doctrine (spelling?). States are sovereign, entitled to respect for their judgement. Keep non-federal cases out of federal courts, Congress has no right to do this. This is going to open some VERY messy doors, this is unbelievable.

199 yeas now. I want you guys to notice the yeas going up as the callers are calling in of BOTH parties saying Congress is WRONG to do this.

7. Was the 3rd one (the uninformed Dem.) the one you could hear
shuffling through to find out what the 1st amendment says?

10. yes, a real "Democrat", that one
Every Dem in Drier's district despises him - but gee, this "Democrat" was SO GLAD he's supporting this bill.

Dead giveaway - another Repig calling in on our line.
