I just saw an intresting little Air Force ad on the net
Edited on Mon Mar-21-05 02:15 AM by lenidog
I was just surfing a site and an Air Force animation ad came up on the screen I was viewing. It had an F-22 Raptor flying about the screen and then two Russian built Mig-29s come onto the screen chase the fighter and then got shot down by the Raptor. What I thought was rather strange was that the Migs had little red stars on their wings. I wonder if the Air Force knows that Communism in Russia went the way of the Dodo?

must be following Bushco orders to psyche up prospective recruits for a war with N. Korea - I wouldn't put anything past these insane fucks.

5.  You may be right
but, therein lies the problem. Most Americans associate the Communist boogie man with a red star, whether that boogie man be Chinese, Russian, Korean, or even Cuban.

6. Actually I must apologize to you
you are correct North Korea does use the red star as an aircaft marking. I got it confused with Vietnam who use the yellow star. Though even if I was right your point is an excellent one and quite correct.

BTW Looked it up in an old aircraft markings book I had.

They're still expecting "nucular" tipped missles to come streaking over the North Pole.
