This Palm Sunday was a special day for me. At the end of the morning service, there was a prayer line for those with special needs. The man who welcomed me the first time I came to the church I now regularly attend asked me to come down so the ministers of the church could pray for me. They surrounded me with prayer, knowing the very public difficulties I have endured. Their prayers have strengthened and encouraged me. I am truly blessed.

I'm forgiven, are you?

I think Jeffy is truly ashamed at what he did in his past and asked for forgiveness. So we should all forgive him and move on.

Jeff or Jim or whatever he calls himself these days hasn't acknowledged any wrongdoing. So, has he been forgiven for relentlessly and faithfully doing the right thing? That seems a curious thing to be forgiven for. And who forgave him? If he was doing what was right, then the personage to forgive him would be . . . the Master of Lies and Deceit, Old Scratch hisself.

It's not the whoring or the fake names or the hypocrisy that chaps my ass about this guy. It's the lying. He's still lying:

I'm not going to ask about those sites beyond what they apparently are. Here's my question. Isn't it obvious to you that that's sort of discrediting in the eyes of a lot of other people? Why would you have any tie at all, if you want to be a mainstream journalist or -- regardless, a legitimate journalist, to websites with names like that?

Gannon: First of all, people misunderstand what those names represented. They're just website names, domain names. Years ago I was doing website development and these names were reserved for a private client. They were never hosted. Nothing was ever on them. And as we know on the internet, things never disappear. These are all things that are from a long time ago that people have dug up just to destroy my credibility and damage my reputation.

I'm not a sinner, since "sin" is an irrelevant concept. I've made mistakes, and learned from most of them. One of the most valuable lessons I ever learned, I learned very early on, and that was to never listen to hypocrites who blather on about sin and salvation.
