A Vignette that illustrates someting interesting about Corporate Execs:
I have a friend who is in IT for a very large corporation. Very large. Run by dolts, but it is damn big.

Recently, said Big Corporation ran a gratis 30-day evaluation of "WebSense". This is a software package that monitors all communications and generates reports on where people are surfing to, on the corporate dime.

Well, they ran it. It collected lots of information.Interesting stuff. As you might expect, a lot of porno siteswere among the places visited from within BigCorp. Some of it some delightful foot fetish sites and other BDSM stuff.

The interesting thing is the fact that one hell of a lot of the porn traffic was coming from within the executive floors at BigCorp. One hell of a lot. Including the foot fetish sites.

Just a little point of reference for you, on the state of the august mentation that is taking place in corporate America today. Cube rats: I hope this confirms some of your suspicions. :D

8. What Can I Say?
I remember my first year out of law school when my male classmates refused to maintain any professional contact with any of their female classmates. Though one of the more prosperous males did impregnate one of his former classmates and subsequently was successful in hiding his assets for purposes of determining child support. One of male male classmates actually told me that it really wasn't appropriate for women to be working in such a professional capacity.

My last job was in the investment industry. My male boss there came to me shortly after I began working there and said that he had never had a female professional co-worker and that he didn't know how to work with me. Then he set my lunch hours so that I would never have the opportunity to lunch with any of my co-workers filling the same job function. Several times a week the boys and the boss went to lunch together. This is also the job where I received soft porn email that was intended for my male co-workers.

Of course I do live in crazy red f*cking JOklahoma where women are widely thought to exist for he sole purpose of procreation, child care and other domestic duties. And I must say that I know some wonderful blue men. But all of the red men I have known were pigs.

3. Yes it does
Thank you for that. It gladdens me to know that between moments when they are giving themselves larges bonuses to show just how fond of themselves they can be, they are thinking about toe sucking and slamming each other's privates in desk drawers.

Makes you proud to be an American.

4. It certainly does ...
I mean, this just proves that the CEO's are the ones doing all the 'hard work' and deserve the $600k bonuses (in my company's case) while us average Joe's who are keeping the place afloat are being rewarded with a whopping 1.5% annual increase this year !!!

Not even enough for a full tank of gas every payday !!!

5. My former boss
is big into the pain meds. Whenever I was stressed before a meeting he would pull a pill out of his coat pocket, break it in half and give it to me.

Liberals and conservatives democrapts and republicans are the same human beings, liberals choose not be ashamed of themselves while conservatives feel great shame and over-compensate by condemning the same feelings in ohters. They do their shit in the basement, in the dark.

9. I Stayed in a Business Hotel Outside Pittsburgh Once
that had an unusual pay-per-view movie system. There was a large library of films that you could select, and it would play your selection starting whenever you wanted.

When I channel surfed through it, there was a notice saying essentially: Our capacity is full, but if you like, you can join another customer's movie in progress.

So I checked out the options. Of the seven movies playing, six were porno.

Does not surprise me at all. On the other hand, I suspect that executives feel a greater sense of protection and job security than nonmanagement workers. Otherwise, all the hourly people would be going to town too.
