abolish one person or one district's income tax. Ask Congress why they would set a precedent like they have with the Schiavo bill.

Of course, no congressman/senator would do it, but it's an amusing thought.

Most of the volumes of tax code are sweetheart tax breaks worded carefully enough that they apply to one Congressman's favorite contributor and exclude everybody else.

2. I like the tax provisions that apply to any corporation with an office at
a given street address!

I think we have gotton a bit more creative since those days, now defining the exact industry niche and a fairly narrow corporate head quarters location. But even when exposed and aired, those provisions pass!
