Why is it that "legislating from the bench" is bad, but

judging from the legislature is good? There used to be a thing called separation of powers, I guess that doesn't mean anything anymore.

1. Well apparently Bush often says a dictatorship would be a lot easier
Maybe this is one way to go about it, getting rid of the powers held by the legislature and the bench so that he can have it all.

When Republican activist judges make radical new interpretations of laws, they call it something else.
