Lynch will begin taking online classes at WVU
http://www.dailymail.com/news/News/2005032114/

Former POW Jessica Lynch, who joined the Army to earn money for college while seeing the world, plans to begin pursuing her dream of becoming a kindergarten teacher this fall.

The 21-year-old from Wirt County plans to start online courses at West Virginia University.

Former Gov. Bob Wise promised Lynch the state would finance her education at any West Virginia public college or university of her choosing.

3. Too bad the Governor didn't care about her before she went to Iraq.
A lot of trouble could have been avoided if she'd been able to get an education without joining up.

There's no excuse for what she did. But I haven't heard of any higher-ups having to pay the price for war crimes.

good for her--she deserves every penny she gets out of this

the Bushies screwed her over for their own glory so hopefully she can get something out of this and make something out of herself

18. She said...
...it was "wrong" for the US government to use her as a "symbol" for the war. And yet, she is christening Carnival Cruise line ships and showing up as a "special guest" at the Daytona 500.

14. it's not a monorail
it's the PRT--personal rapid transit

it works better than some of the big city subway systems-except in the winter and when there's dead animals on the tracks.

22. I too have no problem with Jessica getting whatever she can out
of her ordeal. She could have gone along with *'s big fat lie and basked in the glory of a hero manufactured by this administration, but she didn't so kudos for her. If I remember correctly she also set up a trust fund for Lori's kids and she didn't have to do that. She spoke out about the unfairness of Shoshana Johnson's treatment as compared to her own - what more do we expect of her? I think she's handled herself very well and I hope she gets whatever she wants out of this mess.

20. Hopefully, she won't waste it.
I hope she takes advantage of the excellent opportunity. If she wastes, I, as a struggling college student, will be very PO'ed.
