4. read Noam Chomsky about how all the polls that say a majority
of Americans have said this all along, a majority want a good health care system, social security etc etc and they just completely ignore and do what corporations want.

Blame the media.

5. Unsure?!? People are actually unsure??
Who are these people? Cave-dwellers with no radio, tv or internet?

6. The people who thought they were asked was the country
on the right crack, and decided they'd best leave that answer to the crackheads in the White House?

7. That could mean so many things
For example, a right wing nutcase might say that the country is on the wrong track because abortion is still legal.

8. Most of the polls on that page are consistent
Somewhere between 50 and 60 percent feel we're on the wrong track in all of the polls on that page.

This creates an opportunity for the Dems, if people feel that way after four years of Republicanism. But Dems need to offer a real choice.

9. Does it really matter what the Imperial Subjects of Amerika think?
It's not like they/we could vote the Imperials out or anything.

11. Still the realist who read his history and can see the freight train
barreling down.

Give me some reasons to hope, and I will hope.

Is there ANYTHING in the spineless, apathetic, cowardly conduct of the Imperial Subjects of Amerika that gives even the tiniest inclination they will wake up even a litte, let alone rise up for meaningful change.

Please do share, and I mean that sincerely.

We could all use some good news.
