Right-Wingers Hate Me! (Do They Hate YOU Too? - Find Out!)

For so long I have seen members of DU hated on at websites like Freak Republic and other right-wing whack-job sites, but I have been woefully ignored... until now!

Last week, in a thread about Terri Schiavo, someone suggested that Terri Schiavo should live because she was not a vegetable and she could eat and swallow on her own. That prompted a series of posts by myself that indicated that Terri Schiavo has the same likelihood of swallowing "as a chia pet."

In other words, she had NO likelihood of swallowing, because she is a vegetable. That is nothing derogatory to Terri Schiavo; she simply is what she is: PVS. To further illustrate my point, I listed a few other inanimate objects that also had the same (i.e., zero) likelihood of being capable of swallowing. Note that I did not, in fact, call Terri Schiavo "a chia pet".

I point that last thing out because I happened to stumble upon close to a dozen different right-wing websites this morning, all of which feature those comments by little ol' me, except (surprise, surprise!) they find the statements to be completely morally outrageous, a travesty of all that is holy and pure in this world, cruel and horrific and there is much hand-wringing and pontificating. Oh, and "reprehensible", I forgot reprehensible.

Some of you also made it to the "reprehensible" list, but on most of the other right-wing-rag-sites, I get a more prominent headline billing.

I've always said that you can tell when you're on the right track by the kinds of people you piss off. I think we're on it now.

Anybody who reads the thread will get the gist of the "democratic" argument. It's actually kind of hard to rebut the facts you've stated, except by maligning your character and intelligence.

I was famous for about 5 minutes, when a RWer named LindaSOG was attacking DU, and I responded about her hypothetical sexual attracton to Bush.

Well, it turned out that the owner of AmericanForum didn't care for what I said, and since both I and Linda were members of that board, he felt he should be able to dictate terms on what I say on other sites as well as his. We had some heated e-mails, he baited me to repond to her charges of "personal attacks"...funny, what they say(which is much worse) is never considered personal attacks... on the AF, I said my peace, which wasn't a capitulation , he then told me to find a house in Canada to live in. This is a Brit immigrant who obviously loves the fascism that this country has become, since I wouldn't give up the high growth that the EU is snjoying now for THIS! So, we exchange more heated e-mails, and I tyold him that his site was nothing more than a stealth rw hate site where the liberals are supposed to be lapdog whipping boys. He banned me, and told me...and I quote...to "FUCK OFF!"

BTW: The site is no longer there, but a few were obsessing about me even a month later. LOL!

Sad really. One of the many things that ticks me off about these people is when they tell me to move to another country because I don't like what's going on. This is my freakin country too and I'm a nautral born citizen so I'm going to freakin have a say in what happens. If they don't like it THEY can move and kiss my ass.

That guy is certifiably nuts. We noticed him when he started up that pathetic little blog. It doesn't get much traffic at all. Don't even post links to it here, because that gives him more traffic. Seriously, he's off his NUT.

It's just that I saw the quotes all over the place, and they all referenced back to that site, so rather than post a bunch of links or do a massive cut-and-paste-job, I just posted the source.

But it's probably better if we don't encourage that nut. I've found the thing that pisses off freepers of ALL kinds the most is totally fucking ignoring them. I've been told in PMs here that I am talked about on different sites, quite a bit sometimes, but I refuse to go there and read the stuff, because I really don't give a shit what people with hardly any brain cells to rub together and no heart in their chest think about what I have to say. Let them continue to read me and I WON'T read them! LOL! It's great!

Join the club. I was banned from another site that is infested with rethugs for daring to debate fellow reichnuts about their demigod. Schiavo is not a person but rather a shell. It is a tragic situation. Their are others in similar situations but you don't see Congress runnnig to their aid. Why? Because rethugs won't get any political gain from it. I heard Cockroach DeLay say that they (members of Congress) needed to do this for Terri because she was one of them. WTF? She is but a shell of person with no consciousness. She doesn't feel pain, nothing.
