I just saw a disgusting Social Security ad on CNN

The ad with a voice-over that sounds like the same idiot who did the campaign commercials for */* in 2004 (you know the guy with the dramatic raspy voice)... Anyway the ad said that * has identified a "problem" with Social Security then goes on to trash Democrats for "not having a plan" to "save" Social Security.

WTF!

I ask every right winger, every republican, every conservative, or anyone even remotely buying into this shit to please outline the details of * PLAN?! Where is it? How about those inconvenient little details like exactly how private accounts will "save" social security?

The truth is * does not have a plan or if he does he will not release it because he knows it will never be accepted. Better for Rove/* to blame Democrats for not having a plan and pressure them to come up with something, embrace it as his own, then claim victory. The problem is clear thinking Americans are not buying into this scam and it is driving conservatives crazy.

In fact, Democrats DO have a plan. It is called Social Security. Been around 60 years and with a bit of tweaking will be around another hundred.

we don't NEED to have a plan. All we have to do is approve or disapprove of yours.

When are the counter ads goign up?

Instead of discussing the facts of social security at all, the advertisement spends the first half of the time stating that Democrats have no plan. Then it concludes by asking people to write their Congressperson to denounce the interjection of partisan politics into the debate on social security. Could it be any funnier?
