6. She's already dead
She's not pinin'! She's passed on! This woman is no more! She has ceased to be! She's expired and gone to meet her maker! She's a stiff! Bereft of life, she rests in peace! If you hadn't nailed her to the bed she'd be pushing up the daisies! Her brain processes are now history! She's off the twig! She's kicked the bucket, She's shuffled off her mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile!! THIS IS AN EX-WOMAN!!

She's dead already. Perhaps Tom is planning to raise the dead.

8. New Wingnut Rally Cry...
I can hear the country western tune..."The Ballad Of Terri Schaivo"...and her parents and all the hangers on will be treated as martyrs by the corporate media. My bets are the script was written months ago and the principals have been properly coached for their roles in this Rovian morality play.

The corporate media will label Michael Schaivo and anyone who supported his rights as "killers" and the hate radio spewers will claim that the "libruls" killed a healthy christian woman. Oh, did I forget the GOOP money making machine that will crank out tons of contribution letters warning their horde of all those librul activist judges and send in those trinkets of gold and silver so the infidels can be vanquished.

The wingnuts will milk this to their advantage any way it turns out...and the corporate media will exploit it.

16. Wanna Bet It's On A Christian Station Already?
I scanned across "Air One"...a faux Christian Rock station (isn't that an oxymoron?) and in their "newsbreak", the spin was how thousands were joining the Schindlers in prayer and how it was Christians that were "saving Terri's life". It was so conveluted it could make sense to someone without their own cerebellum (which covers 99.9999% of this station's listenership).

What's scary, is someone probably is penning this as we type...and when it comes out, I'll join you looking for the mothership!

12. Okay, you're nuts --- and so am I.
I thought exactly the same thing.

As soon as I read about the similar case in Texas, where the 68-year-old man was transferred to a nursing home that would keep him on life support, I knew the next thing would be to charge anyone who "contributes" to a similar death with murder.

I mean, it makes sense, doesn't it? If you don't do everything possible to maintain "life," you must be a murderer. And just the fear of being so labelled and/or so charged will be enough to keep anyone from writing a living will, issuing a DNR order, getting an abortion. . . . .

And once again, the death penalty does not apply, because criminals CHOSE to give up their "right" to life. . . . . .

19. that's a different case entirely
in the Texas case, the man's wife does not want his tube pulled. Since he left no instructions (like Mrs. Schiavo) the spouse makes the call on medical care.

13. Delay would push a bill declaring Michael Schiavo a murderer
and call for his immediate arrest and summary execution. I wouldn't put it past that snake to try to pass a flagrantly unconstitutional bill of attainder against Mr Schiavo. :grr::grr::grr:

14. Dead Or Not,...
the little law that * signed this morning needs to go to the SCOTUS to be summarily executed. If she is granted release before this thing is over I say RIP.
