Janeane Garofalo to play poker champ in NBC comedy "All In"

Garofalo has winning hand for NBC 'All In'

Janeane Garofalo has been tapped to star in NBC's comedy pilot "All In," lifting the contingency off the project based on the life of poker champ Annie Duke...

"All In," from Warner Bros. TV and studio-based Is or Isn't Entertainment, centers on a single mom of three (Garofalo) in Las Vegas who is a professional poker player. In addition to starring, Garofalo and her managers David Rath and Kara Welker will be producers on the pilot, exec produced by Jack Burditt, Lisa Kudrow and Dan Bucatinsky.

If NBC picks up the pilot, does that mean she leaves Air America? -- TKGB

3. Janeane Garofalo's AAR job.

There was a rumor a couple of weeks ago that Janeane may be let go at Air America Radio. Does the proposed pilot play into that rumor?

4. Not necessarily, since a pilot is no guarantee the series will go into

production. And the rumor, if I remember correctly, was confirmed as wrong.

I am glad that is just a rumor and they are not going to get rid of her. Sam and her have finally found their chemistry, plus I like her taste in music.
