4. So whats with rawstory then?
They're usually on top of these things. I had heard that the judge said it was unlikely he would be convinced by the parents to reinsert the tube.

6. Not sure what they were doing
but they've removed it from their site. Drudge had something similar up for a bit, hope they didn't get it from him.

3. Matt Sludge also got it wrong
He quickly pulled his story that the judge ruled in favor of the parents.

5. My feeling is the judge is trying to let the family down easily
Edited on Mon Mar-21-05 07:03 PM by Quixote1818
He doesn't want to reinsert the feeding tube and give them false hope then they go and pull the tube out again. That would just push the drama up ten fold! People would start trying to break through the front door and all hell would break loose. This way their hopes are kept in check so when the ruling comes in against them they will be in a better state of mind to accept the reality of the situation.

7. Not to sound ghoulish or hateful, but maybe the judge will do like the
ohio SOS and state supremes and wait to decide until it is too late, then the issue is moot!

11. Logically & Practically speaking, IF the Judge were going to rule
to put the tube back in, he would've done it right away.

Time WAS a big issue here and he just said, indirectly by his ruling to wait, that time ISN'T a big issue.

13. I Agree with This
In fact, I was a little surprised to check the headlines right before I left work and read that he hadn't ordered it.
