* says he wants Soc. Sec. ideas; then has "town hall" mtg. no ques.allowed
Edited on Mon Mar-21-05 06:53 PM by NormaR
More pathetic hypocrisy.

PFAVoter fund is running ads saying Bush has not proposed a plan bc he wants to hear all ideas, and accuses democrats of offering no ideas.

Then Bush has town hall meetings, invitited sheep Republicans only, and no democrats, questions or protests are allowed.

2. There's what Bush says
and then there's what He does.

He is a limp dick wimp. Just like the rest of the republican and democratic (most of them, not all) officials in Washington right now.

4. regular folks aren't buying it
one of my co-workers took a break in the office today. He's not political, but we got talking about Social Security. His words: "Bush is just puttin' on a scam to steal our money. It's a crime."

This is in a red state, btw.

5. He does want ideas, if they include "personal" accounts
And what do you mean, no questions are allowed at his town hall meetings? He gets a lot of questions, tough questions, like this one:

"Whatever program that you put out for Social Security I'm fully behind it. You have my support."

Seriously. That was a comment made by a disabled questioner in Florida. Those are the kinds of ideas Bush wants to hear.

6. also saw the ad and was struck by the negativity of it;
the finger pointing and name calling ,I think will backfire because of the timing involved with the Terri Schriavo thing....Many people have had enough of all of this, gas prices being the hardest hitting of them all.

7. Then he would have to explain the details about his plan and the
predictions it makes about the state of the USA economy in the next 50 years.
