7. station just went dead down here in Naples...
just as the show was going to start. I was listening to it for the last 15 minutes and it was working fine and the minute guy comes on -it went "dead."

Isn't that convenient?

Have to turn the volume all the way up to hear Greg. Then when either Guy or Michael speak, we jump out of our chairs because it is so loud.

By the way, I was unable to hear some of Greg Palast's interview, having to leave the room, but I heard him discussing an American tv newsman, who uses "digitized makeup."

Did anyone hear who that is?

I've never heard of "digitized makeup" made specifically for tv.

He's currently answering Jan Michael's reference to Chile, when he returns after the break.

but digitized makeup is kind of like 'blue screen' only it is used on faces so that they can keep those blurring effects on moving faces.

concerning Chile brought out something we haven't been told, and that is that after Pinochet started running the Chilean economy into the ground, he reversed his course, and re-nationalized some Chilean industries, like copper.

This has never been acknowledged or discussed in this country, to my knowledge. Never EVEN heard it before.

Also interesting hearing that they see Chavez as the big pain in the arse, and that once they neutralize him, they believe they can man-handle the other South American liberal presidents.
