Did you see Mike Coleman & Ken Blackwell on HB tonight?
I detest Ken Blackwell for the partisan way he handles the voting in Ohio in 2004, but he sure cam across as a much better candidate for Ohio Governor than Mickael Coleman, current Mayor (of Columbus I think).

Coleman just sounded like an idiot. He answered every question with the same canned words, wether they fit or not!

Why can't we find a better Ohio Dem???

1. Ohio Dems
People really wanted Coleman to throw his hat in the ring. There might be better candidates but they don't seem to be interested in running for governor.

2. But what kind of candidate will Blackwell be once he's jailed?

3. If he sounded good there, hear how bad he sounds before congress here:
He's all smarmy and snotty to Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones. Amazingly arrogant.

Secretary of State clashes with Congresspeople at hearing on Ohio's 2004 vote

By Karen Kasler - March 21, 2005

A Congressional committee headed by Ohio Rep. Bob Ney (R-St. Clairsville) is investigating the 2004 presidential election. The committee held a hearing at the Statehouse Monday, and sparks flew when the state’s chief elections official took a seat before the panel. Ohio Public Radio’s Karen Kasler reports.

4. What he did was break federal & state election laws...
...repeatedly.

The Ohio Democratic Party sounds particularly weak. Please, all Ohio Dems need to get involved!!!

5. I agree, Blackwell is a crook, and maybe will be cited!
I hope someone is going after him for what he did, but Coleman seems so weak! If you Ohioans really want him, get him some real strong coaching NOW!

8. What is up with the Ohio Dems.
On this thread is an update and a bit of background about a case they brought against the State.

It gets real interesting at around Post #7.
